The gild itself is comprised of persons either in the Gild Hall or Gild Hearth. All members of the Galdragildi are part of the Gild Hearth. Some of these are individuals who are working in the early stages of the work of the Gild Hall, that is, Apprentices, and those who are still within the Initiate phase of joining the Galdragildi. The overall membership promotes the ultimate aims of the gild proper: they are interested in the folkish/heathen traditions, desiring to take an active part in the re-awakening of the spirit of our folk and ancestors. Some are more sympathetic to the religious aspects rather than the magical. Both kinds of members are absolutely necessary. Those who are solely in the Gild Hearth, and not seeking the goals of magical Self-Initiation within the Gild Hall complex, are welcome to attend, and sorely missed if they do not, the quarterly [seasonal] blóts or sacrifices. After all, these are specific times of the year where the connections to the gods and goddesses are strongest and certainly most beneficial for the participants. All persons would come together, religious and magical-minded, to foster a greater resonation, thus establishing a substantial link during the blót where members can make offerings of prosperity and well-being appropriate to the given quarter. It is the high time for clan and community.

All members are encouraged to attend the variety of workshops, blóts, sumbl, and varied events, as well as some of the ‘table-work’ (study groups) that is regularly offered to those who are working within the Galdragild’s curriculum.
