The preliminary Inner structure of learning is largely based upon the Runes of the Elder Futhark that eventually leads to learning the Younger and Anglo-Saxon (Frisian) Futhorc and beyond. The reasons for this are due to the availability of core information regarding the runes, both historically and magically. The Runes are the very mysteries of the universe; that is throughout all of the nine worlds having influence and giving power to everything within and without, though hidden from the un-initiated. It is in the quest for acquiring and understanding these limitless potentials that the doors open for more involved development: greater levels of achievement both personally and of the arcane. Exampled by Herjan himself: Transformation, through this Work, occurs as a matter of right action, as long as the development of the higher self (the Inspired or Wode-Self) is pursued in earnest. It is the intentions and goals of this gild to reflect and uphold the aims of the elder gild eternal the ancient Work of our ancestral folk, of Ódinn and the other Æsir and Vanir. Our folk-soul is in peril at this time and cannot hope to maintain with the present mind-set. The Self must be strengthened. The runes and magic of the gods are the tools for ensuring this. Knowledge and the Work it relates to must be pursued and performed in tandem. |
